Essential Stability: Provides a solid, flat foundation for scaffold standards to distribute load safely.
Heavy-Duty Construction: Manufactured from high-grade pressed steel for maximum durability.
Standard Sizing: 150mm x 150mm square base, designed to fit standard 48.3mm scaffold tubes.
Safety Compliant: Built to meet industry standards for structural support and load-bearing.
The Scaffold Base Plate is the fundamental starting point for any safe and stable scaffold structure. Designed to sit at the foot of each vertical standard, it provides a level surface that spreads the weight of the scaffold, preventing the tubes from sinking into the ground or damaging the surface beneath.
Each plate features a 50mm central spigot that slots securely into the bottom of a standard 48.3mm scaffold tube. By increasing the surface area at the point of contact, the base plate ensures that the downward pressure of the structure is evenly distributed, which is critical for maintaining structural integrity on both soft ground (when used with sole boards) and hard standing.
Our base plates are made from high-strength pressed steel, engineered to withstand the immense vertical loads of multi-lift scaffolds.
Precision Fit: The 150mm x 150mm footprint is the industry standard for stability and compatibility.
High-Side Spigot: The integral spigot prevents the tube from slipping off the base, ensuring a vertical, secure fix.
Versatile Design: Features pre-drilled holes for those occasions where the plate needs to be screwed or bolted to a timber sole board or floor.

To protect delicate driveways or pavements from rust stains and scratches, we recommend using these in conjunction with our Yellow Tredda Plates. If you are erecting on soft ground, always ensure your base plates are placed on top of a timber sole board to prevent sinking.
